Teriyaki Sweet Potatoes with Cilantro


A great side dish that tastes even better if you make your own Teriyaki sauce using our recipe.

Teriyaki Sweet Potatoes Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2" (5 cm) pieces
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
  • 1/3 cup cilantro, washed and chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil
  • METHOD:

    Preheat oven to 400°F or 200°C Mix the teriyaki sauce and cilantro together in a large bowl with the seasonings and then toss the sweet potatoes in the mixture until coated.

    Place the sweet potatoes in a large, shallow casserole that has been lightly coated with oil or cooking spray.

    Reserve any excess sauce.

    Bake for about 40 to 50 minutes.

    Serve with a garnish of cilantro.
