Nothing to this one! An absolute necessity with Fish and Chips! Also makes a great sandwich spread.
The name Tartar Sauce probably comes from the French loosely meaning 'rough' in a reference to the Tartars of Mongolia who lived in a wild and savage manner. It has no connection with Steak Tartar in a culinary sense.

METHOD: Combine all ingredients together and chill - usually tastes best made 24 hours ahead, but this is not essential.
