Well, following several requests for my version of fish and chips; which being a Brit, should have been my first recipe on these pages, I give you my recipe for Beer Battered Fish (and Chips)! These are every bit as good as the great fish and chips we get at our local pub! |

I prefer to precook my vegetables and meat, although this is never done in Cornwall. I find this gives a nice well-rounded flavour to the filling and avoids the problem of a tough chewy crust from over-baking while trying to get the filling cooked through. |
