3/4 cup (180 ml) margarine or butter, softened 1 cup (375 ml) sugar 3 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla extract (5 ml) 3/4 cup (110 gm) all purpose flour 1/3 cup (48 gm) cocoa powder 1/2 cup (30 gm) chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds) |

Melt the margarine or butter over low heat, allow to cool slightly. |
