Pizza with Broccoli


fresh-made pizza dough for 12" (32 cm) round crust or pre-made pizza crust.
sliced or diced cooked meat - can be ham, salami, pepperoni or a mixture (200gm)
1½ cups partly cooked broccoli florets (375ml)
1 shallot, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
4-5 button mushrooms, sliced
1/2 red pepper diced
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (220gm)
Parmesan cheese to top
pizza sauce


Press and stretch pizza dough in 12" (30cm) round pan. Spread the pizza sauce onto the dough, leaving 3/4" (2cm) around the edges. Sprinkle the shallot followed by the red and green peppers and the mushrooms and finally the broccoli. Lay out the cooked meat evenly and top with the grated Mozzarella cheese. Add a final dusting of Parmesan cheese to finish.

Bake at 425°F or 220°C for 20 minutes or so until the cheese is golden brown.
