Recipes for Christmas

Christmas Cake

Welcome and Merry Christmas!

This is a listing of our most recent Christmas recipes from 2009. Many of them can be made at any time of year for a special occasion or just because you feel like mincemeat tarts in July! It is also a great idea to get a head-start on your Christmas baking, especially the Christmas Cake. The baked goods freeze very well and will help reduce that seasonal stress.

Pictured above: Christmas Cake

This is a beautiful moist cake with a heavenly aroma and rich flavours. Try to make it at least a month ahead of Christmas, so you can 'feed' it with brandy, but if you only have a couple of weeks lead-time, don't worry, it will still taste wonderful on the day!
